Miami Vice was one of the most popular shows of the 1980s and it spun off a number of adult parodies including this gem featuring two female detectives in the title roles and a parodied theme song - Booty's Blues - sounding an awfull lot like Glen Frey's Smuggler Blues. Released in 1985, Hollywood Vice was one of the first movies to parody the series before some other more elaborate versions were developed. But this one certainly holds its own, if not for the rare glimpse of Virginia Slim who has a majority of the sex scenes in what came to be one of the few, if not the only, adult film she ever made. Orignial Liner Notes: This is the city! Hollywood, California. A killer is littering Tinseltown with young bodies. It's a job for the Hollywood Vice girls. The dynamic duo walks the streets to crack this perplexing case. The Slinky Hot Ladies in blue redefine "bust" as their investigation takes twists and turns through the opulent, yet sinister worlds of white slavery, prostitution, fast cars, and yachts. There's action in every nook as the uncovered undercover beauties get to the bottom of the situation. Do they get their man? That's inside... information.
