1976 - Rollerbabies (Blu-Ray Remux)
In a dystopian future where overpopulation prompted the government to outlaw sex, individuals require permission to procreate and take anti-aphrodisiacs to suppress their libidos. Masturbation becomes the sole outlet for sexual relief, while pornography dominates entertainment. The narrative is introduced by Fuller Shite, director of WSEX-TV, who explains the situation during an informative monologue at the film's outset.
The main character, Sherman Forbish, hosts a live sex show that faces potential closure, prompting him to seek alternative income sources. He learns about sex androids from a scientist friend, but their high cost makes this venture unfeasible. Meanwhile, Forbish encounters Miss Vice Squad, a double agent, who assists him in evading the CIA's crackdown on illegal sexual activities by using a runway model, Yolanda Savalas.
In a bid to innovate, Forbish devises a new trend: competitive sex on roller skates.
The film is presented in a Region Free Blu-ray format, newly scanned and restored in 2K, and includes features such as the original theatrical trailer, reversible cover artwork, and English SDH subtitles.
