Elizabeth receives a call from a friend of her daughter, Sophie, who informs her about a party planned at their house that night. Unaware of any such gathering, Elizabeth confronts her daughter, Jodie. Jodie initially downplays the situation, claiming only a few friends would come over, but Elizabeth learns from Sophie that 12 friends were actually invited, and they were discussing how much beer to bring.
