RELEASE NOTES..: This one is for the real fans of this fun thriller. To my surprise, only the GER UHD Blu-ray from Capelight Pictures got a properly QC'd colour grade, while Icon's UK UHD Blu-ray and 4K streaming versions were all way oversaturated, especially in the reds. I know the director and DP both spoke about using saturated colours for creative reasons, but it's obvious when comparing to the Magenta Light Studios SDR HD Blu-ray that Capelight's HDR grade is the most accurate, while upholding the vision of the creators. I cut some useless intro logos and was able to at least splice in the initial Miramax grayscale logo sequence from the UK disc for (1) English intertitle, but the rest of the film had to remain as is from Capelight's disc, both to avoid re-encoding and preserve the proper HDR grade with retail Dolby Vision metadata. This does mean there are some instances of foreign GER intertitles, but as a compromise, I created accompanying English overlay subtitles in PGS + SRT and merged in to appear in time with the German on-screen text; the tonemapped fancy font PGS version fits best, so it is forced by default. As usual, DD+ compatibility audio track included.
