A 19th century Western. Chon Wang is a clumsy Imperial Guard to the Emperor of China. USA video has far better PQ than GER video and has the proper OAR.
GER audio sounds much better than the wimpy DD 5.1 audio provided on the USA disc. However, there were a few instances of individual samples clipping to 0.1 dB on the center channel of the GER audio. These tiny instances of clipping were not audible to me when viewing the film due to the clipping being so mild and only happening for single samples rather than clusters of samples. I did do a comparison by fixing these samples that clipped with iZotope RX and then re-encoded to DTS-HD HRA, but due to DTS-HD HRA being a lossy format re-encoding degraded the quality very slightly so I chose to leave in the original audio as the clipping was inaudible anyways.
Commentary taken from GER disc since both USA and GER commentary had similar PQ, but GER commentary had a higher bitrate.
