In River Hunters, Rick Edwards and river-searching expert Beau Ouimette visit some of the most historically significant sites across Britain: covering iconic events and battles including Roman Briton, the Wars of the Roses, the Reformation and the English Civil War. Episode Summary: Beau Ouimette, Rick Edwards and Gary Bankhead travel to Colchester, Essex, to find evidence from the second English Civil War in what became the longest siege in British history. Finds include a short-barreled Carbine gun which was commonly used by the Cavalry in the 1600s and a horse stirrup believed to be from the 1648 siege due to it's age and position on the river bank.
