MGM and NSM Records both have very similar transfers, but MGM edges out in PQ slightly due to NSM Records disc using very slight DNR.
For audio, MGM sounds better than Capelight due to there being more noise in the Capelight transfer. NSM Records audio is 16-bit and sounds worse.
The commentary track was taken from the Capelight GER disc. However, Capelight used the newer MGM logo at the beginning which caused the lion's roar to be out of sync. To fix this, I have taken the beginning of the MGM main audio and combined it with the Capelight commentary audio so the lions roar is properly in sync with what is shown on screen. To ensure proper joining of the two audios, iZotope RX was used to get a timestamp for the join point where both audios have zero-crossings to avoid clicking at the sample that was used as the join point (timestamp 00:00:15.960). Splitting and joining was done with MKVToolNix.
Commentaries from both GER discs synced to MGM disc.
Subtitles from GER disc and WEB sources synced to MGM disc, checked each sub for correct sync.
Named chapters from NTSC DVD were merged with MGM chapter timings as they both had the same number of chapters.
Scorpion Releasing & Capelight discs come from a different master than MGM & NSM Records discs so comps from slow.pics are for MGM USA vs. NSM Records GER.
