Bosom Buddies follows the adventures of Kip Wilson and Henry Desmond, junior ad-men at Livingston Gentry and Mishkin Advertising Agency. Kip was an illustrator, but aspired to be a painter, and Henry, a copywriter and aspiring novelist. When their building is demolished, they dress as women to stay with co-worker Amy Cassidy in her apartment at the Susan B. Anthony Hotel, where men are forbidden anywhere above the lobby. Kip and Henry decide to invent alter egos Buffy and Hildegarde (their fictional sisters) to move into an empty (and cheap) apartment at the hotel; Henry, to write an expose about the experience, and Kip, to get closer to Amy's beautiful roommate, Sonny Lumet, nurse, and part-time dancer.

Bosom Buddies - The Complete Series with Special Feature. The Series aired for two seasons on ABC from November 27, 1980, to March 27, 1982, and in reruns in the summer of 1984 on NBC.

For some reason the Season 2 portion of the set had episodes in the incorrect order, probably due to time/space constraints. The episodes "e;Cablevision"e; and "e;One For You, One For Me"e; were on the the last disc. With "e;Cablevision"e; being presented as the last episode. I have taken the liberty of correcting the running order.

Also as with most TV Series released on DVD some of the music and/or scenes have been removed due to licensing and/or rights disputes.
The original theme song "e;My Life"e; by Billy Joel was replaced with "e;Shake Me Loose"e;, which was used during the show's syndication run.
Many of the musical numbers featured during the show's run have been edited/eliminated altogether. Notably "e;Yakkity Yak"e; ( from the episode "e;Call Me Irresponsible"e; ), "e;Chances Are"e; ( from "e;All You Need is Love"e; ) and "e;Rock and Roll Heaven"e; ( from "e;Hildy's Dirt Nap"e; ).

I have also included is the ABC original April 9th 1981 broadcast of "e;Best Friends"e; with original commercials. Big thanks to OP Vetinari for posting it.
