Plot Summary: Three scientists—Avery Jane, Leana Lovings, and Siri Dahl—are developing androids known as 'trandroids' (transformative androids) intended to serve as perfect platonic companions. Their project takes an unexpected turn when an investor insists that the androids be transformed into romantic companions. Under pressure to meet the new requirement, the scientists work diligently to enhance the trandroids' capabilities for intimacy.
